Mokulito is a relatively recent hybrid technique adapting the principles of lithography, developed in Japan in the 1970's by Osaka Schisi, using a wood surface instead of Bavarian limestone, or aluminum plate. The wood is grained, drawn onto with oil based medium, and also can br engraved with wood cutting tools.

This class is designed to guide you through this simplified version of lithography, learning the basic the litho process, understanding how to prepare paper for printing , and creating editions of your work.
