Mokulito is a relatively recent hybrid technique adapting the principles of lithography, developed in Japan in the 1970's by Osaka Schisi, using a wood surface instead of Bavarian limestone, or aluminum plate. The wood is grained, drawn onto with oil based medium, and also can br engraved with wood cutting tools.
