The Caryatid is a subject  I have visited through the decades. The works are based on the imagery of Greek Architecture; the caryatid is a stone carving of a draped female figure, used as a pillar, and seem to be effortlessly supporting the tableture of the building. These images  pursue the visual statement that there is a much greater effort involved in the idea of women supporting the world.
